I have been married to my wonderful husband Mark for 10 years. We have a great little boy "John" (8 years old) and he is his daddy's little man.
We live on 40 acres northeast of Denver, with several sheep, 2 horses, 6 border collies and 1 pug who is The Speckled Goose's mascot. She works hard every day greeting all of our customers. She would love to meet you too.
I n June 2006 I opened The Speckled Goose in Old Town Lafayette. I rent out a few areas of the store to local crafters. This gives the customers a larger variety of gift to choose from, and a store front for local crafters to sell their items.
I have been crafting for more years than I care to count or admit. The mediums that I currently work with are tole painting, stitching, and crochet to name a few. I have just started to make Raggedy Anne dolls. Boy are they a lot of fun.
